Where Dani writes about… just about everything!
In the past, I used to entertain the idea for awhile of becoming a police officer or joining the law force at some point because the idea of helping keep the peace around where I live was interesting. I wanted to be of some help to the area that I live in, because we currently have the highest burglary rate in the entire state! Wow. But in order to be a good police officer, I know that I’d need a lot of training… I also know that I’d need the right clothes as well. If I ever were to seriously consider this job again, I would go to 511 Pants to get pants.
While I was talking to Bryan about some page ranking systems and which ones we need to watch for each of our websites, like Google’s PageRank, I got to discussing some other ones like Alexa… and I went to check my own Alexa score out of curiousity, which is usually not something that I care too much about since my site is fairly new. And my website has 1,136,802! Pretty nice!
Meanwhile, I made some spicy kimchi soup for myself. Vegetal, it says.
And when I finish optimizing my personal website for Firefox, which is all I think I have to do, I’m going to start work on my hide shrine and then maybe work on some other listings as well. And through some common listings, I’ve met some awesome people there, like Simone, who’s now on my blogroll.
Yeah, I think I have a lot of potential listings in mind that I’d like to make… one day. I’m not going to sign up for them on the site until before they’re already at least halfway done on my hard drive or hosted on my site, though, because then I would feel really bad if I couldn’t complete the ones that I’d already told TheFanlistings.Org that I was going to work on and own. You know? Heh…
I was going to make another post in here last night with some pictures of my friends’ college Sims that they requested to have on my game, but I got sidetracked and failed to deliver. I’m sorry! Right now, I’m working on cleaning up those images and ordering them in the order that I want them since my Screen Capture tool likes to take them semi-randomly, and they don’t even begin to tell a story that way… I should be done with it sometime relatively soon, as Jason’s down for his first and probably his only nap of the day. Not too long ago, the two of us got back from going to Subway; I love Subway, as most of you probably already know by now, and I got Jason his first-ever Subway kids’ meal with it. And, of course, he loved it… like mother, like son.
And I’m also almost completely done optimizing all of my websites for Firefox. Finally! Go me. When this is done, I intend to take a little bit of a break from all things web design, at least for a few days at the least. It was annoying converting some of the harder-to-convert sites to Firefox, the ones whose coding relied majorly on codes that only operated in Internet Explorer. But I’ve surprised myself in being able to convert a lot more of them over to looking almost the way that they did in Internet Explorer, more than I thought I could!
Well, all I have to do is get my ID for the fall semester of college next month and I’m good to go until September 1st, when classes start! Even though the pictures are all black and white, I think I’m going to wait until I streak my hair before I go up there and get my picture taken for it. Which means that I’ll have to go up to Hot Topic to get the colors that I want, because the only color that ever really shows up in my hair when I attempt to streak it is light blonde, and sometimes that’s kind of boring… well, for me, anyways. I’m thinking of getting the pink streaks that I almost always get for my hair, and maybe some lime green streaks to go with that as well… maybe even aqua blue, too. I don’t know! So many streaks, so little time. But I suppose I have plenty of time.
And meanwhile, I’m still working on that whole site renovation thing… I’m almost two thirds of the way done with it, and I think I’ll be finishing the remainder of that within the next few days. I want to do it all before school.
