I got my Halloween costume in the mail today! Wonder Costumes is pretty awesome when it comes to quoting you shipping times and then you getting the product either right before or right at the earliest time that they quote you. As for other things that happened today, someone on campus had the bright idea of installing a really good microphone right in the middle of the cafeteria student center, over on the first floor, and putting “Soap Box” up beside it. Anyone can use it, and you don’t have to pay for it… but it got annoying when people got on it and sung, especially because the microphone was of so high quality that everything was loud and it reverberated. Ouch…

I’ve also made more awesome friends while on campus today. One of them has really funky fashion taste, and I say that in a good way because it kind of reminds me of myself. Well, except for the fact that he has his bottom lip pierced twice and all I have is three piercings in the lobes of each of my ears… but yeah. I would have more piercings if I wasn’t allergic to so much metal.

Back in reference to the soap box, though, it got kind of amusing when two people got on it and alternated with their opposing views on who should be our next president. One person was strongly in favor of Obama, and the other person absolutely could not stand him. Even Palin got insulted in their debate!

Tomorrow, I have a quiz over chapter five in my Sociology class and our second test in Psychology. I’m going to go and study for those here in a little bit, and then I’m going to turn right around and work on my persuasive speech for Business & Professional Communication. I’ve already found out what it is I want to do my speech over, so now it’s as simple as looking around on the internet and finding some nice sources. I’ll let you guys know what it is later.
