Where Dani writes about… just about everything!
I’m thinking about getting myself a bath wrap for Christmas, or at the very least asking for a terry towel wrap for either this coming Christmas or my next birthday. We’ll just see how things go, I guess! I figure that having one or two of these on hand sometime before next summer would be nice, especially as my pregnancy progresses and I begin to show more. For some reason, I’ve noticed that my internal barometer has gotten more finely attuned to “cool” weather, and I’ve been starting to favor warmer temperatures. I’m not sure just why that is, but it is.
This site that I’m looking at also has these cute personalized ink stamps. As a little kid, when I was in elementary school I used to love stamps. But you can never be too old for stickers and stamps, I think! I have a few Hello Kitty stickers on my laptop, as a matter of fact.
I’m such a girly girl, aren’t I?
Apparently I’ve been told that I’m on the ball. I have all of the items that I will need to breastfeed, and I’m currently working on getting maternity clothes. Since I won’t know the sex of the child until next year, the most baby clothes I really want to buy Autumn or James right now is sexless onesies that both boys and girls can wear. The only thing that I’m hesitant to get myself right now are maternity pants, because it’s easier to buy maternity shirts online and the pants are something that you have to wear before you know they fit you. At least, that was how it was for me when I was pregnant with Jason… and I didn’t really need any maternity pants until my third trimester, when they suddenly became a necessity.
For some reason, I was slow to gain weight in my last pregnancy. Jason came out fine, but I swear you could barely tell that I was pregnant until my third trimester. I could barely feel that I was pregnant until after I’d missed my monthly period, although most women remark that they can “feel it” much sooner. Maybe I only felt it with this one because I’ve already been through it.
Matt’s cat, Cookie, also died this last weekend.
For the longest time, Cookie was able to come and go as she pleased… they never had any problems with her wandering around the backyard, or else they would have reined her in much sooner. The dogs whose owners live next door to his family never did anything that would otherwise have signified potential trouble, but Cookie got attacked on Saturday and didn’t survive. It really upset Matt, because not only was that their family’s new cat, but this attack was completely out of the blue.
Personally, I think it’s about time that the FridgeLocker was invented. For those of you who haven’t yet seen it, I suggest that you go on over to www.FridgeLocker.com and check it out for yourselves.
It’s the perfect way to secure your beverages and sweets in your refrigerator, which is extremely useful if you live with a lot of family members or have roommates who might be tempted to indulge themselves in your things. You can also put your medications in it to ensure that you always know where they’re at, as can you prevent other people from getting a hold of them! Even though the only person that I really share food with is my two-year-old son, I still think that this is an exceptionally novel idea.
