What should I do with this extra money?

Since I’m going to be selling back my college textbooks for money on Monday, I’ve been wondering what I’m going to get with the money I’m going to be getting. Should everything go as well as I’m hoping it will, I should be getting back approximately $100 since I tend to get back just over half of the initial cost of most of these books. Even though most of the money that I get back is going to go towards my children, I’ve been looking at some of the items that Green Dragon Herbals sells. I’m considering getting some flavored massage oil from them, as am I interested in trying their roll on perfume as well. Having been a big fan of herbal items for as long as I can remember, this would be a great way to spend some of my money! Since my parents always tell me that I should spend more money on myself, this would make them happy as well. :)

I’m also considering getting some of their body lotions as well, because I’ve noticed that my skin can sometimes get dry. Being seven and a half months pregnant, this is to be expected, and having a way to hydrate it would help!

  • Already looking forward to next semester!

In my spare time, I’ve been reviewing some of the equations and theorems we learned for my upcoming math final. Since I have a B in the class, I’m not worried that I’m going to do so badly that I don’t wind up passing the course — if anything, I’d like to maintain the grade that I currently have! When my school publishes the course catalog for this coming summer, I’ll begin putting together a schedule for next semester that allows me to do everything I need to do while continuing to go to school. If I can’t manage to attend full-time next semester, I’ll come as close to it as I possibly can. Right now, three of the classes that I’d love to take are General Biology II, Introduction to the Old Testament and Yoga. Depending on who’s available to teach what at what times next semester, I will pencil in another class and happily call it a day.

If anyone who plays the PSP can help me find a translation to Tales of Destiny 2, by the way, let me know! My playlist of music reminded me that I need to work more on that, but it can be a little difficult to do if you can’t read very many words in the game… even if you have a script sitting right in front of you.

  • I should win an award for this one-liner.

“Well, pull it out and I’ll see how it feels.” — me

To give you guys a little bit of a back-story on this, Matt and I went to a good friend’s birthday dinner last night. Although I’d chosen something nice from my closet to wear hours in advance, Jason managed to run through a mud puddle in the backyard about an hour and before we had to leave my house and this managed to dirty up both my shirt and pants to the point where I couldn’t easily wipe it off with a washcloth and call it a day. Throwing both of those items in the washer and dryer would have taken more time than we had to spare, so I decided to get dressed in something else. I wanted to wear a light shirt that didn’t cling to my skin too much, because that’s been bothering me over the course of the last few months… so when Matt pointed to a shirt in my closet and asked me if I wanted to wear it, that was what I said. Only five or six seconds later did we realize how wrong it sounded. Then we cracked up. :P
