I think I might buy these shoes for myself!

After taking a good look into my closet, I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to buy myself more pairs of shoes. Taking Fitness Walking up at the local college last semester ruined not one, but two good pairs of tennis shoes. However, I don’t regret taking the class because it’s given me the perfect excuse to buy myself a pair of Air Jordans! Not only do Air Jordan Shoes look nice, but I bet they could stand up to all the wear and tear that I would undoubtedly put them through. Besides, I’ve heard a lot of nice things about the Air Jordan brand from several of my friends. Not only have they told me that the newest Air Jordans look nice, but they’ve even linked me to a site where you can buy the lowest priced Air Jordans! So far, I’m really liking the retro Jordans — they’re the perfect Michael Jackson shoes, and it would be nice to start a shoe collection with several Air Jordans in there. :) The Air Force Ones look the nicest of all.

A Song That You Wish You Heard On The Radio

For some reason, I skipped this one… but what better of a time to come back and answer it than today? :P Ironically enough, I actually answered this to a point in prompt #17 since I don’t find myself listening to the radio that often. However, I couldn’t resist choosing “Tilt-A-Whirl” by the Insane Clown Posse for this one. Once you get used to their crass humor, they’re actually pretty hilarious. I’ve listened to them for years, and I appreciate them for it. They do their job well, and they’re really intelligent even in spite of the fact that — as some have said — they’re adults wearing clown makeup. It’s part of their gig.

  • I hate the way folks drive around here.

One of the things I dread most about heading up to college every day is the bad traffic. Even though this city is connected to the largest military base in the free world and one would think that having to drive from end to end of it would make these people more proficient drivers, the reverse of that couldn’t be more true. Some of the worst accidents that I’ve ever seen have been near the road that leads over to the college, which incidentally is a quarter of a mile from one of the military base’s check-in points. As a matter of fact, the worst one had to be the head-on collision that happened in the turning lane that allowed people to begin heading down the road that would take them to the college, which almost caused me to be late to my morning class one day. Someone was rushing off of Post and hit one of the drivers trying to turn in.

Is driving around here really so bad that I always need to have the nearest Personal Injury Austin lawyer’s number on hand? Sometimes I can’t help but wish that I lived in a smaller city where accidents like these were the exception rather than the norm. It’s sad to see the sometimes flagrant disregard that drivers have for each other’s welfare. This is why driving makes me nervous.
