New Year’s Resolutions, circa 2011.

Lose the rest of this baby weight
Since I’m still carrying some of it, that should go without saying. As long as I don’t lose excessive amounts of weight all at once and limit the amount of anaerobic exercise that I do, I should be fine. Next semester, I’ll be working out more at the gym around my aerobic weightlifting class and Yoga class because I’d like to work on my endurance and flexibility — things, of course, that began to atrophy when I was pregnant for… well, pretty obvious reasons.

That exercise thing was going well until I almost itched some of my skin off!

Stop letting people push me around
I think I let myself get pushed around from February of 2010 all the way to late August, when I finally began to assert myself. I wasn’t about to give people false hope about things that were more than likely not going to change any time soon, and if there’s one thing I won’t do to a person it’s to give them false hope about anything. I respect humanity enough to not want to do that.

  • Touring The City Lights

Thanks for the guest post by Esteban Vinson

Every year in the city that I live in, a tour bus takes people around the city to look at the beautiful Christmas lights that people have put up. I have been going on this tour for the last two holiday seasons. There is a group of about 20 to 25 people on the tour bus, and they stop so that we are able to view each and every home.

Before I head out, I make sure to set my home security alarm from Home-Alarm-Systems. In these days and times you can never be to certain who is watching you. Doing this is the best way for me to feel secure while I am out and about. Once this is done we meet at a location downtown and the tour begins.

I am always amazed at the homes that have been decorated. They go to such great lengths to add the lights and decorations to their homes. It really helps me get into the holiday spirit. I have told my friends about the Christmas lights tours, so hopefully this year someone will want to go and enjoy the lights as much as I do!

insert obligate HTML opener for “somewhat vague”

I don’t necessarily mind some of the recent events that have transpired to get me where I am now, even if some of them were a bit of a… breach in my privacy, I guess some of you could say. Because if they got me where I am, I can’t really frown too much about that. Call it what you will, regard it as your God working in His various ways if you’re spiritual, I don’t care either way.

/closing code for more of the same

Soon, I’d like to make a New Year’s resolution post up here. :P

You’ve been warned! I just need to flesh it out a bit more in my mind, then…
