Where Dani writes about… just about everything!
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of FRESCHETTA® for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have any of you heard of Freschetta? For those of you who haven’t, they’re one of the most well known frozen pizza producers out there. One of their most well-known pizzas are the FRESCHETTA® Simply…Inspired™ pizza, which I’ve actually seen myself on numerous occasions while out shopping. Since my four-year-old son’s favorite snack has been pizza for as long as I can remember, we were excited to receive a coupon from Freschetta for the Simply… Inspired pizza! Not only would he get to eat one of his all-time favorite foods, but I’d get to write about something that I feed my son on… about a monthly basis, I’d say. And since I’m pretty sure most of you already know how much I love to write, you can probably already tell how happy I am.
Since pizza-picking is Jason’s specialty, I let him choose the pizza that we were going to eat. And just as I thought he would, he picked the Farmer’s Market Veggie one. Like mother, like son, I guess! As soon as I had a day off from school, I put the pizza in the oven and warmed it up as per the instructions on the back of the container, cutting out one slice for myself and one slice for Jason as soon as it had cooled down. One of the things that I loved most about Freschetta’s pizza is their thin slices, which didn’t give my son nearly as much trouble biting through as some of the thicker-sliced pizza brands out there do. Not only that, but it wasn’t dripping with the grease that some other pizza brands have — there was no grease at all on it! That, and we could actually taste each ingredient because of the FRESCH-TASTE SEAL™ packing that it came in.

Jason’s personal favorites were the zucchini and the thin crust. Mine were, of course, the mushrooms! I’ve loved mushrooms for as long as I can remember, so this shouldn’t surprise very many of you. The above pictures depict our pizza before I served it and after we got done eating. And in comparison to the other pizzas I’ve bought him in the past, he actually finished off more of this pizza in one sitting than he has others.
I’d also like to take the time to tell you about the Freschetta bamboo cutting board that I’m giving away as a part of this blog post, too. To enter, all you have to do is write an entry in your own blog about how much you’d love to own this bamboo cutting board, link back to this post and leave a link in a comment here letting me know where I can find your entry! You have until May 31st, 2011 to do this — any and all comments made as a part of this giveaway before May 31st, 2011 at 11:59PM CST will be accepted. After that point, I will use the Random.Org number generator to pick a winner, assigning each comment a number based on the order that it came in, and post that screenshot in a post here on my blog. Then all you have to do if you’re the winner is send me an e-mail — I’ll post where in that blog post — letting me know your address so that I can send you your bamboo cutting board! Easy enough, huh?
Oh, and don’t worry. I’ll pay the shipping costs myself — I’ll be selling my textbooks back next week as it is!
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Nutrish for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Everyone meet Sadie! She’s the dog that my father surprised my mother with six years ago, knowing that she’d always wanted to own a bloodhound. And when my oldest son was born, she became his dog just as much as she was my mother’s dog — the two of them are practically inseparable now that Jason knows how to talk and walk.
Needless to say, everywhere Jason goes, Sadie follows… if she can. It’s like a mantra. Where you find one, you find the other. If you find the dog, you’ve pretty much found the kid, and vice versa. But when Jason goes to the doctor’s office or the dentist, Sadie waits patiently at the front door for her best friend to return. Sadie’s an almost perfect dog, except for one small thing… she has a sensitive stomach.
We’ve pretty much given up on feeding her table scraps because of it, and it took us awhile to find a dog food that didn’t irritate her stomach.
And to think we’d almost settled on one until I was lucky enough to get a free sample of Nutrish in the mail.
One of the things that I liked most about Nutrish is how it’s made out of real food. In other words, there are no synthetic products with fancy names to be found in it! Real meat is the very first ingredient in all of Nutrish’s dog food, and it’s either beef or chicken depending on which kind you buy. All of the other ingredients in Rachael Ray Nutrish just 6 dry dog food are completely natural, too — my mother even noticed that when she was reading the back of the bag that it came in, while Sadie was eating it. And, might I add, it passed the “taste test” with flying colors given just how much of a picky eater our dog has been in the past! It looked enough like her old kibble that she didn’t even turn her nose up to it, and she ate the whole serving. Not only that, but it was one of the few dog foods we’ve ever fed her that give her no gastrointestinal upsets!
Sadie’s definitely going to be a Nutrish dog from this point forward. There’s no doubt in my mind about that.
Are you looking to start your dog on a more nutritionally complete dog food? If so, you should get a free sample of Nutrish from Rachael Ray’s website! And if you do, be sure to let me know how your dog liked it.

Soon I’m going to be hosting my very first giveaway here, so keep an eye out!
In my spare time, I’ve been reading about Cast Iron Radiators. I’ve also been comparing prices on the various ones that I’ve found, because that’s what single mothers do — especially if they have more than one child, because every dollar saved in today’s economy is a dollar that is then taken to ensure that the needs of their children continue to be met. And even though Texas isn’t known for its freezing temperatures, we do get some — and when they actually come around, they tend to stay for a few months. That, and most Texans aren’t as used to the cold temperatures as some of their counterparts from other states, so it’s essential that I have something in this house that can keep us warm should we be on the receiving end of… say, a bad ice storm.
In my search for the perfect Cast Iron Radiator, I’ve come across PaladinRadiators.Com… and I don’t think I’m going anywhere else! Not only are their radiators decorative and made of incredibly high quality, but they’re also affordable as well. Gone are the days of me having to decide whether spending almost all of my money to make sure that one of their most vital needs gets met… just to turn around and have to stretch out what little remains of it until the end of the month. One of the things that I like most about Paladin Radiator’s cast iron radiators is the informative size chart that comes with it — in other words, that means that I can actually get a cast iron radiator that fits into the area of the house I’m going to put it in. I can even decide what custom finish mine will have, too! This is awesome for someone as finicky as me!
Looking for a cast iron radiator? You should check PaladinRadiators.Com out.
