Where Dani writes about… just about everything!

I took this picture yesterday, hence only one tab being poked out, but still…
So many college graduates get out of school knowing what they need to know about English, math and science… but very few of them know How to Write a Resume. I’ve long since learned that having a good resume is the key to securing a good job — not only can you plug what you majored in if you attended college, but you can also cite jobs you’ve held before and other achievements you’ve had. This is just as important when it comes to impressing prospective employers, especially if you have one or two in mind in particular that you really want a job with. More now than ever, resumes are required… especially if you skip the whole entry-level job thing we all dislike.
How many of you have checked out this Resume Builder? If you haven’t, you should! This site can help you build a great resume, and you don’t even have to pay anything to have it done. Check that site out and tell me what you think!

He knows he can move now, and he’s quite good at doing it — he crawls like the Roadrunner, and he’s getting more confident on his feet, which given his cautious disposition is a good thing. Of course, that goes in my parenting blog.
In his spare time, however — which, arguably, is all of it — he does this.
When my children and I had our pictures taken, the company that we went with had to get a Photo Studio Rental in this city. Their actual brick and mortar company was in a town several hours away from us, and they were doing some advertising here in my city — since they were offering some great rates, I decided to go with them for the weekend that they would be spending down here since the kids needed their pictures taken anyways. Had I lived a little closer to Splashlight Miami, though, I would really have suggested that they go with one of their photo studio rentals. The pictures on their website look really nice, and their property includes an extensive equipment rental center as well as a kitchen and a lounge! In other words, it would have had everything we’d have needed — including a place for my kids to snack around picture-taking.
If you’re interested in the Miami photo studio rental, you can easily call (305) 572-0094. You can rent a 1,700 square feet photo studio from them, too — one that’s column-free if that’s what you’re looking for! If I had known about this, and if we lived just a little bit closer with Miami, I think I would have went with these people to get our pictures done. But there will always be more pictures taken of the kids, especially as they grow older — kids are only young once, after all. And photography is my way of preserving these memories, making sure that various extended family members can see and have something of my sons as they grow older and being able to show my sons just what they looked like when they were little. This is essential in the case of my oldest son if he wants to see what his eyes looked like before and after his surgeries, too.
