Today looks like it will be a busy day, so…

After I’m done finding some online coupons for orange county restaurants, I’m going to get off of the computer and do some of the things that need to be done today — afterward, my youngest son will “open” some of his presents (with our help, of course) and eat a slice of birthday cake since he’s now two years old! Of course, I’ll be standing to the side trying to get as many pictures of him doing this as I possibly can, and the majority of those will see themselves being uploaded to Instagram and some of the other social networking sites that I use. And that, to the best of my knowledge, would only be one — I don’t actually use MySpace any more. Since Tom stepped down as the head of it, the changes that the new owners have made to it have been changes that I… haven’t really been much of a fan of. No sugarcoating there.

Facebook is a lot easier to use, and a lot better, even though they make a lot more “small” changes to things like the interface. However, a lot of my friends use it! So does most of my family, as a matter of fact. So hey! I’ll stick around.

If I’m not looking at glass showcases and going, “Ooh, pretty”!, I’m getting ready to attend the transfer… seminar? I don’t know what else to call it, but it’s what the university that I’m looking into transferring into holds for new transfer students, and it’ll also allow me to talk to an advisor while I register for next semester’s classes. Either way, that is a total win! Even though I’m going to start off my “tenure” here fairly light, I don’t expect it to stay that way for too long. After all, it tends to work best for me when I ease myself into the things that I most want to do… and I expect my bachelor’s level work to follow that.

I’ve also been playing Ragnarok Online. With the double experience “event” going on for another week, the opening of the new classic server and double drops on the Renewal server, I mean… what’s there not to like about it when both of the boys are in bed for the evening? I mean, come on now. This MMO captured my heart almost as soon as I began playing it, and that was almost ten years ago– crap, now I feel old. However, to my own credit, I’m only 26!
