Where Dani writes about… just about everything!
Well, I got Tekken 6 as an early Christmas present from my father!
I’ve always been a fan of the fighting games that were out when I was a kid, to include such titles as Battle Arena Toshinden and Tekken. Sadly, Battle Arena Toshinden discontinued at the third game. I liked a lot of the main female characters in it, especially because characters could use their own weapons in the game and that made it a lot of fun to play. Ellis had dirks, Tracy had police sticks and Sofia had a whip. And although Tekken’s characters don’t use their own weapons as much as they use their own unique styles of fighting, it’s still a whole lot of fun to play. I’m just getting back into the whole world of fighting games, and I’m learning that I need to block opponents’ attacks more to survive. Some of my friends at school enjoy playing fighting games, so I figured to myself that it wouldn’t hurt for me to get back into some of the ones that I enjoyed playing growing up…
Hands down, my favorite female character would always have to be Jun due to the OVA. But I also like Lili, because although she moves a little slower across the screen than I’d like, her attacks are pretty powerful when timed correctly!
