Although I’ve been using TweetDeck for most of the time that I’ve had a Twitter account, I don’t know what happened. Some time after the Presidential debates were televised, it began to randomly lock up — sometimes simply leaving it open for several minutes, the screen untouched, would cause it to freeze. Nothing that I did, no unchecked settings that I checked, no checked settings that I unchecked could get this to stop. That said, I had no choice today but to uninstall it, because it just wasn’t working with my computer. In its place, and at the advice of a friend, I installed Janetter. As I continue to use it, I’ll be sure to blog about my experiences with it here, but I can say one thing right now: it has yet to freeze on me! It hasn’t frozen once, which is great.

In the future, I suppose I’ll get that “what have I Tweeted” widget back here…
